In the interests of responsible drinking
WHEN it comes to responsible service of alcohol laws, it comes down to more than just legislation.
Camden Liquor Accord president Dean Kondic, who’s also the licensee of the Merino Tavern, said enforcement of the laws was also the personal responsibility of the licensee.
“Hopefully people are drinking responsibly and enjoying their night,” Mr Kondic said.
“That’s what everyone in this business wants, but some people drink more than they can handle.”
A new Bureau of Crime Statistics and Research shows that Mr Kondic is not the only licensee who sees the laws in this light.
