Hoteliers team up to help fight crime
CRIME STOPPERS Brisbane Bayside Area Committee and Bayside Liquor Venues Accord (BLVA) have joined forces to help fight crime and lead the way to change irresponsible hotel patron behaviour.
Bayside Crime Stoppers chairperson Phil Devin said the alliance was formed as the BLVA and Crime Stoppers share the same community mindedness and common goals.
“Early this year there was an introduction to the BLVA, and from there Scott Hogan (chairperson of the BLVA) saw a link between the responsibility of venue owners and operators and the community. He then saw a good link with Crime Stoppers and our community mindedness,” he said.
