Liquor Accord working

FORMED in 2007, the Capricorn Coast Liquor Accord is going stronger than ever in its bid to make licensed premises a safer environment for all patrons.With more than 25 members, which includes all licensed premises across the Capricorn Coast, the accord confirmed yesterday it had banned more than 150 people for misconduct and misbehaviour since it began operating. in the past seven years of operation Accord chairman John Foley said the Liquor Accord played a vital role in encouraging patrons to behave themselves in and around licensed premises so all patrons could enjoy a safer environment.”There are currently 23 having been excluded in bans that vary between six and 12 months depending upon the severity of the misconduct,” Mr Foley said.
